What Have We Been Up To?
We've jumped into the new year with a range of exhilarating projects, including new agricultural builds, renovations, and recovers. Our main goals for this year revolve around prioritizing quality, maximizing efficiency, and nurturing connections with customers who share our passion for their endeavors.
Here are a couple of projects we are particularly proud of that we completed recently.
Multi-Span Recover - Newport
Located in Newport, this 7-bay multi-span polytunnel serves a specific purpose: alleviating pressure on a slurry store by intercepting and diverting groundwater flowing into it from the yard. Between October and February, regulations prohibit slurry spreading, necessitating up to six months of storage. However, this was unfeasible at this farm due to extensive uncovered concrete yard space. Our task was to transform and enhance the functionality of this bay by installing a central vent, creating an optimal environment for cattle while addressing the initial rainwater issue. Future plans include expanding the structure sideways towards the dairy parlour and extending coverage to the remaining yard space.
The introduction of a 700mm opening at the ridge facilitates the free flow of air throughout the structure, naturally drawing in cooler, fresh air from the base. This fosters optimal health conditions for cattle, preventing the accumulation of moist, bacteria-laden air within the structure.
New Build Stock-Master - Devizes
Alex owns a small poultry enterprise specializing in egg production, supplying local restaurants and cafes in Coulston, Wiltshire. Our Stock-Master system aligns seamlessly with his operational style and philosophy for bird management.
Alex prioritizes nurturing the natural behaviors of his chickens, inspired by their forest-dwelling origins. He incorporates high perches to encourage flight and provides a spacious open range for natural foraging amid the grasses and trees he has cultivated.

Calf-Master Polytunnel
We're thrilled to announce the expansion of our range and the existing range of AG Polytunnels' products with the introduction of the Calf-Master Polytunnel. Designed specifically for raising calves or housing cattle with calves at foot, this innovative structure features high sides clad with 1 meter of steel box cladding followed by 500 millimeters of durable livestock netting. The side rail supports a folded galvanized steel gutter, and customers have the option to choose between a cover of white polythene or green PVC, equipped with a translucent strip running through the center. This structure is available in 18ft, 24ft and 30ft widths and in any length in 2m increments.
