The Calf-Master Polytunnel

Purchase your Calf-Master Polytunnel Now.

Our calf tunnels create an ideal environment for nurturing calves from birth, providing both protection and excellent ventilation.

Polytunnels designed for calf housing have proven to be valuable tools for farmers, contributing to improved animal welfare and enhanced profitability over the years.

The stable and protective environment significantly reduces stress on the animals, leading to optimal growth by improving food conversion to weight gain. This, in turn, can increase the survival rate of calves by minimizing mortality from exposure.

The design of our calf houses incorporates 1.5m straight sides, allowing for 1m of box profile steel to shield calves from breezes. Additionally, there is 0.5m of high-strength windbreak material above, ensuring adequate ventilation above calf height.

Roof vents situated in the middle of the polytunnel facilitate the escape of warm air, promoting a fresh and airy atmosphere. The canopy and gutters on both sides prevent bedding from getting wet.

These calf rearing polytunnels have gained popularity, thanks to their white roof that allows natural light, including UV, to pass through. This not only maintains good air quality but also aids in disinfecting the structure between batches of calves, ultimately reducing the costs associated with artificial lighting.

The Calf-Master is available in 18,24 and 30ft wide structures or in multispans of 30ft. Our most popular multi-span structure is a triple span with two outer bays of 30ft and an internal bay of 18ft.
